It started snowing yesterday during the night. In the morning, my mom woke me up WAY TOO EARLY! Mom asked me if I could help my little siblings build a snowman. She told me that I would have to leave a little early for work because of the snow. So I just got up somehow and of course, still sleepy! I walked into the living room and opened the front door. When I opened the door, I was very shocked and surprised to see how much snow there was! And it was still snowing! I have never seen that much snow here in Fallon in my life! It was amazing to see tons of snow and how white it was. My little siblings were pretty excited! I tried to make a ball to start making the snowman but it was too dry. Instead, we just had a snowfight, made snow angels, and just ran and walked in the snow. It was about 8 inches of snow! Then I went in to get ready for work. I wasn't excited about driving in the snow especially since it was not plowed. When I was done getting ready, my boss had called and told me to wait until the road was cleared. So I was a little happier about that. But about one hour later, I just decided to go to work. I drove really slow in the snow the whole way. There are some CRAZY drivers! Scary! I stopped by Payless Shoe Store and bought snow boots. Then went to work. Most of the roads were not plowed and I only saw one bulldozer shoveling the snow in the parking lots. We got to leave early, at 1:00, because they didn't want to get snowed in. I was pretty happy. I went home and played with my siblings for the rest of the afternoon! The kids were lucky to have a "Snow Day" which means no school! We had a lot of fun in the snow: snowfights, snow angles, pulling huge icicles off the roof, watched the neighbors sledding in the snow behind a truck, etc... It was a great day!
